Reflection mornings

Parent gatherings
Once a term, parents at Broken Bay Catholic schools are encouraged to come together for a couple of hours of reflection. At these sessions we unpack the themes of the Walking the Way book, pool our parenting wisdom, and draw strength from the resources of our Catholic tradition. Schools arrange these reflection mornings or evenings as deemed best for their community. If you miss a session at your school, you are welcome to join in a session in a nearby school community.

RSVPs are encouraged for catering purposes. However we understand that a parent’s day is not always predictable, and it is OK to just ‘show up’. Usually the RSVP is directed to the Religious Education Coordinator  at the school.
We are working hard to try to ensure that childminding is available for these sessions. Please check with the local school community about this service. Often it is printed on the invitation or flyer circulated locally.

Parent Leadership
We are keen to grow a substantial base of ‘on the ground’ parent-leaders who can assist with promoting and supporting these gatherings. We already have this base active in the Central Coast. If you are interested in being involved, please contact Jo Spek for more details.
